Sneak peak at new Microsoft Keyboards and Mice for Fall 2004

ActiveWin.com Exclusive: New Microsoft Hardware Fall 2004 Lineup Photos

ActiveWin.com has a nice roundup of the next generation of keyboards and mice from Microsoft. I'm especially interested in the ones with built-in fingerprint readers! You can tie all of your various network and website passwords to your fingerprint and then just touch your finger to the reader to log you into your various accounts. Sweet.

I can already see a movie line where some sys admin type dude gets his hand cut off. "Sir we've got the hand. We're in".

Wonder if this'll will cross-work for unix. I've had a bum day remembering and working with like 8 accounts on some unix box in some forsaken server room. damn the super user.

I don't know which is worse - the thought of someone chopping of my hand to get my passwords or actually trying to remember a few dozen passwords. hehe

By the way - i'm curious as to how you found my blog?

These look like some really nice Mice. And that keyboard looks fit for custom writers since it has a nice design. Will look forward to buy them.
